Trying to work my way back

Hi Guys. I hope everyone is well and staying safe. I know that I have been MIA for a while. With everything going on in the world right now. I took some time off to be with my family. Not that I had much choice. LOL. They were all home, whether I wanted them to be or not. Six people in the house is not very inducive for writing, along with my writing taking a back seat. I have not spent much time on my Social Media platforms. It has all become argumentive and depressing. I haven’t even had a chance to get out in the woods yet! Life has been crazy all across the board. I think enough time has passed now that I am going to try to work my way back. The next book that comes out will be a Paranormal. It's a fantastic story. This will be closely followed by a Bigfoot book (Sequal). That a lot of you have been waiting on. And hopefully, I can do a book giveaway in the next few days. My Story

Hi Guys! Glad to have you here. I'm going to do something that I haven't done before. I'm going to tell you MY story. The story of how I became a writer and the strange background that comes with it.
Pull up a chair, grab your favorite beverage, and let's just dive right in.

My husband Marty and I were living in a home that had a bit of Paranormal Activity. It wasn't anything major. Things would randomly get moved during the night and you would notice it the next morning. (Coffee creamer out of the kitchen and on the coffee table in the living room.) Just annoying little things. Things would go missing and wind up in places that you had already looked. Things you could just blow off and forget about. And that is pretty much what we did. It became normal day to day life. These things would happen randomly, maybe every other month. So we didn't make much of it. Long story short. My son and daughter in law moved in with a new baby. Things got bad really fast. I ended up contacting a paranormal team. After an investigation, one of the co-founders suggested that I keep the activity documented. That is where the Blog was born, https://a-paranormallife.blogspot.com/ After the investigation and two house blessings later, Marty and I ended up joining the team. The co-founders were awesome mentors and we spent the next few years training with and becoming close friends to these guys. I learned a lot from these two men.
After the third and final house blessing at our home. One of the co-founders asked if he could use my Blog to write our story. I felt honored. Brandon Hudgens worked closely with me to get our story told. In the meantime, Marty and I along with my son and daughter in law founded the Carolina Cryptid crew. ( Which turned six years old yesterday.) I had always been interested in writing. But I never attempted to step out on my own. With Brandon and Marty's encouragement, I wrote my first book about the Carolina Cryptid Crew. From there it took off and I was getting hits from every direction to write a book. I am thankful to Brandon for showing me how to work closely with a client and how to get my book out there. He has played a big part in my becoming an author. And Marty has been so encouraging. He is my number one fan and supporter.

Now, I am an Author with a publicist.(Thank you Cari for taking all of the headache work!) It has been slow coming, but I have quite a few books now., and have met some amazing people. So that's my story.

~~UPDATE~~ I know a few of you found out that I was diagnosed with cancer. Yes. Last February we found out that I had a very aggressive form of breast cancer. After just one Chemo treatment (That almost killed me.) I stopped all treatment and had a lumpectomy. My surgery was last July and by the grace of God, I am doing good today. I have to give credit for my life to God. It was him that got me through this with minimal treatment.

Paranormal book

As some of you know, I am currently writing a Paranormal book.This is going to be a compelling story. I knew I had to help "Pamela" get her story out to the public. In committing myself to write this book, I also knew that I may be opening a doorway for my own family. It was after my first few weeks of writing that we all started to notice the things around the house. It's just little signs that let you know you have an unwanted visitor. My first occurrence was waking up at 3:15 am. I have been waking up at this time every morning now. And once you wake up you have the eerie feeling of being watched. The family is seeing the shadows again and having objects moved or missing. I know this will continue until I finish the book and cleanse my home. This is one of the reasons I don't do as many of the Paranormal books. But I have committed myself to getting more of these done for you in the future. So keep an eye out for some upcoming books. These are real stories that you don't want to miss!

Bigfoot Book

I have almost finished the last Bigfoot book I'll be doing for a while. I have a few paranormal coming next and possibly another Dogman book. I have an absolute treasure trove of untold stories just waiting to be written. Home Free

Because I spend so much time writing, I don't have a lot of time to just enjoy the web. Well, about a month ago I was checking out some of my favorite youtube videos, and I came across something that I would like to share with you.It's an A Cappella group called "Home Free." They do a lot of country covers, and I am fascinated with their talent. I find myself going back to their youtube page everytime I get the chance. Their music really touches the heart. While I am listening, my whole family gathers around my computer, and we sing along with them. I can't explain how these guys do it, but they have a way of getting into your blood. My six-year-old grandson asks me to play( Wagon Wheel (Song of The South) - Old Crowe Medicine Show and Alabama Home Free Medley), for him a few times every day. Now, that I have shared this with you, I'm going to ask that if you enjoy their music like we do, you will consider supporting these guys. It's hard to make a living doing what they are doing. It's constant work for very little pay. Being an Indy (Independent) Author, I understand this completely. When you put something out there for the public, you never know how it's going to be received, It can make or break you. Paranormal thoughts

Here we go again. Are you ready? We are about to jump back into the Paranormal. I know this has been a long time coming but I think I can explain it. It doesn't matter what story I am working on, if it has anything at all to do with the paranormal, it kicks things back up in my own home. And with my getting ready to start this new book, it is already happening. I know I have yet to write the third part of my own story, and this is exactly why. My health has been good again and life at home has been fantastic. I'm just not ready to stir things up again. But alas, I owe it to my followers and clients to bite the bullet and get on with it. I will have one more Bigfoot book coming out (I think). Then I will be working on some Paranormal. As always, Thank you all for coming on this journey with me. New Book

I have just finished Ravens Return.  It took me well over three months to write this amazing story. It is always bitter sweet when I finish. I will start a new book in the next few days. This one will be somewhat different as we once again delve into the Paranormal. I'm looking forward to working on it. I want to thank you all for following me on this journey of true stories. Clearing the confusion.

It has been brought to my attention, that there are people out there that are a little confused with my books. I would like to take a moment to clear this up. The majority of my books is written for other people. Meaning, people approach me with their story, and if I think it's good enough, I ask them to let me make a book out of it. Then my researchers and I go to work to verify that the story is completely true. We contact many people when checking this. Now, with that being said, I have two books out about myself and my team. "Bigfoot Chronicles". I have one book out that is entirely fiction, "Family Ties." And I have two books out documenting the paranormal activity that went on in our home, "Our Paranormal Reality." All of the rest of my books are written from other people's stories. And are as accurate as I could possibly get them. I feel humbled and honored to have people reach out to me with their story. And I hope I have cleared up any confusion. Thank you for supporting my books and giving these people an ear that will listen to their remarkable stories. Without you, I couldn't help them.
