I was born and raised in a small town in upstate South Carolina. I first became a Blogger and later was persuaded to take my writing a step further. My first book, My Paranormal Life, A True Haunting, started as my own private journal of my family dealing with a dark entity. But it didn't stop there, I took it even further and let my experiences help me to co-found a paranormal team and a cryptid team. I enjoy being able to reach out and help others. I have made many new friends in both these fields, which has also led me to help others to have their stories told. I realize firsthand that these people have a very passionate and unique story that needs to be told. In getting these powerful stories out to the public, I hope it will help further research in both of these fields and the individual who shares their story with me may find some closure to their own personal nightmare. I am honored to be able to bring you true stories of the unexplained.

Author Scam

I wanted to share something with you while it was still on my mind. I received a phone call the other evening around eight o'clock. ( I received the call on my home phone (landline) that has an unlisted number). I answered the phone, expecting it to be a telemarketer as it was an unknown number. To my surprise, a lady that called herself Wendy asked to speak with me. She knew my name. This got my attention. Then she asked me if I had written the book Sasquatch The Native Truth. I told her I had, and she began to talk about how well it was selling on Amazon. I was having some red flag warnings going off now. She asked me how I promoted my books. I let out a sigh and answered her question vaguely. I had no clue who this was, and I wasn't comfortable with her questions. By my tone of voice, she could tell that I was getting irritated. She asked if this was a bad time to talk. (It was 8:00 pm) I told her yes, and she said that she would call me back the next day. After hanging up the phone, I immediately Googled the number 619 514 3309. It showed that it belonged to Readers Magnet. And there were many cases against this company with the Better Business Bureau. It seems that their scam is to "help you promote your book" for only six hundred dollars! Now, this girl is ringing my phone off the hook. I wasn't going to speak to them anymore. But if she doesn't stop calling, I'll just have to tell her that I'm not going to be a part of their scam. If you are an author or know someone who is, please pass this information along. An Indy (Independent) Author has enough trouble without someone like this trying to sabotage them. https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/san-diego/profile/digital-marketing/readersmagnet-1126-172021180/complaints

Melissa George Presss Release

Paranormal Author Tells Other's Story After Finding Peace When Writing Her Own
South Carolina – Several years ago, with the help of a family friend and the support of her family, Melissa George put her story out to the public. This was a story of heartbreak, ill-health, fear, anger, and finally triumph. She tells a story of a family's struggle and the facing of a demon who had taken possession of their home. The family suffered for years and watched the paranormal become normal for them. After several house blessings, the family found peace and could sleep at night once again. Writing the book, Melissa found a closure that she did not think possible. After a few more books, one about the paranormal and a couple of Bigfoot books, Melissa knew what she had to do. She decided to help others tell their stories. She knew that if putting her story out for the public to read could help her in such a way, it would be the same for others.
Melissa has offered her keyboard as an outlet for those who have had terrifying encounters with the paranormal. Melissa has helped people tell their stories of Bigfoot, Black Eyed Kids, Dogman, and even of a paranormal investigator who was followed home by a dark entity. Melissa works with her client over a length of time that is conducive to their comfort level. She has a researcher that confirms the story with the others involved and asks the tough questions. There are questions that will be uncomfortable for people to answer, but having lived it herself, she understands. She works with the clients' pace and allows it to be a form of therapy for them. So far, the people who have allowed Melissa to tell their stories have been happy with the results of the book, as well as their mental state.
Melissa George is available for interviews, advice, and certain speaking engagements upon request. Melissa is also taking more book submissions at the moment. If you are interested in scheduling an interview, reviewing a digital copy of her books, or submitting your story, you can contact Cari at carionmedia@gmail.com or call (864) 280-7145
