Melissa was born and raised in a small town in upstate South Carolina. She first became a well-known Blogger and later decided to take her writing a step further. Her first book, My Paranormal Life, A True Haunting started out as her own private journal of her family dealing with a dark entity. But it doesn't stop there, Melissa took it even further and let her experiences help her to co-found a paranormal team and a cryptid team. She enjoys being able to reach out and help others. She has made many new friends in both of these fields, which has also led her to help others to have their story told.Melissa realizes first hand that these people have a very passionate and unique story that needs to be told.In getting these powerful stories out to the public, she hopes it will help further research in both of these fields and just maybe the individual that shares their story with her may find some closure to their own personal nightmare. Melissa feels honored to be able to bring you true stories of the unexplained.

Being humble

I know that we all have hard times and we all have difficulties in our day to day life. Some days are worse than others. And sometimes, we need a friend to lean on; I am humbly asking you to be that friend for me. As some of you know, I have recently had some serious medical issues. I will explain for those of you that don't know.
Two years ago, I found myself deathly sick, actually, I nearly died. I was not aware that my hemoglobin was slowly dropping signaling that I was somehow losing blood. I thought I was just tired. My hemoglobin had dropped to a four before I went to the ER. By this time, I would fall asleep while talking or eating. I went facedown in my breakfast and would fall asleep and fall out of chairs! The doctors were amazed that I was able to walk into the ER and immediately ordered me five packets of blood. I could have dropped dead at any moment and actually should have been dead. I recovered and then had an endoscopy and colonoscopy. The colonoscopy revealed polyps that were removed, so I thought it was over. The following year unknown to my family or me I was continuing to lose blood. After a few months, I noticed the symptoms and went straight to my doctor where I was ordered two packs of blood. Now I am facing an appointment with a hematologist. My doctor seems to think my bone marrow may not be producing the red platelets that I need.
Through all of this my medical bills have become astronomical. So I am asking, if you can, to please purchase a book. For ten dollars or less, you will be helping me more than you will ever know. Now I know that some of you can't purchase a book and I completely understand. I have been there too. But if you can't purchase, can you please share this with someone that might? Thank you so very much.
